N64 RGB Mod Done — C-Sync Discovery and Two Working Boards | Bonus Life #7

N64 RGB mod install is done and verified working. Soldered under the microscope — first time that’s been on stream — and both boards confirmed operational going into the next session.

We also hit the first real output chain decision point: the GBS-C setup needs a dedicated C-Sync line. The RAD2x doesn’t. That matters for how the giveaway console gets wired, and we work through it here. Plus a test fit of the LCD screen into a scrap case before any measurements get committed to the giveaway unit.

This is the Bonus Life build. A broken N64 being restored to better than factory spec as a ten-year celebration of surviving a cardiac event. The doctors gave me a 17.5% chance of survival. When the build is done — RGB modded, USB-C powered, every game on an SD card — the console goes to someone in the community.
